About Us

$10,000 for new Porsche Cayenne 958.2 OEM headlights?!

There has to be another way.

As Cayenne owners ourselves (and a designer and a engineer), that didn’t sit right with us.

2.5 year ago, driving through the rain, we noticed the Passenger headlight was flickering.  Day after the rain, only the center light bulb turned on. The 4 corner lights didn't, but the driver side headlight was normal.

We researched and was not a known issue at that time. We waited hoping prices would reduce. There wasn’t even any used options back then. By the way, the driver side was still bright enough for to drive at night. Then one trip to the Mountains with no street lights, that's when these lights need to get fixed.

As time passed, we noticed lot of Cayenne owners are having the same moisture and water entering the headlight because of a design flaw and deteriorating seals.

Prices were the same if not more (inflation).

$3500 headlights from the dealership.

That's for ONE HEADLIGHT!

It'll cost you $10,000 to replace both of your LED Matrix headlights. That is 50-70% of the cost of a used 958.2 Cayenne.

We were determined to fix ourselves. This journey was long and full of frustration and learning.

We bought and swapped a Control Module, a Control Unit. We went to a few Porsche Independent Mechanics. We even bought a Remanufactured headlight that looked good in pictures but it was a terrible fit on the car.

All those didn't fix the issue.

On my spare time, we took apart the headlight studied how everything was connected and also bought some other units and dissect those.

Then with many prototypes and trial and error with our manufacturer, we designed and built a new type of headlight.

It works! You don’t need to code it too.

The big road block that all Cayenne owners with LED Matrix headlights is CODING.

Even if you bought some third party replacement headlight that works, you will have errors on the dashboard that will never go away.

My team and I figured it out and we are producing these for Cayenne owners that don't need to stress and worry for something that should never have happened.

These are the things you will not have to go through:

You'll second guess yourself and try the all the options. Replace Control Module which cost $350 + labor = $800.  But you'll have to pay a mandatory $350 Diagnosis Fee through the Dealership because they won't allow you to replace any part without them checking it out first. Even if that makes the headlight work, you still didn't solve the initial issue, the deteriorating seals that let water and moisture in.  Hardly no one repairs these lights because it’s extremely hard to remove the lens (requires to cut the lens and put on a new one which is also an expensive part) and put it back together. Even if you do it'll cost you $700+ and the time waiting for it to be shipped to them and back to you. You'll need to do it because water will get in.

$350 Diagnostic Analysis by Dealership

$800 Control Module + Headlight Labor

$700 Lens and Seal replacement + shipping

TOTAL: More than $1850

You will not need to take all these risks, time, stress, and money for expensive broken headlights

Install Prestine Headlights and enjoy it without spending $14,000 on just headlights! Esp on a car that is over a decade old (2015-2018) but still run great.

Ask yourself...

  • At least 30 days or more without using the Cayenne?
  • Keep guessing if individual parts are the issues and replacing them one by one?
  • Waste time and stress going back and forth to independent mechanics and dealership?
  • Hassle and worry of shipping bulky headlights securely and not breaking them.
  • Risk buying the wrong kind of headlight and dealing with returns.
  • So many headlight options you don’t know which one to get.
  • Get scammed through foreign sites and the hassle of returning them and possibly not getting your money back.

The best part is the install is extremely simple. If you can unplug and plug your charging cable into a phone, then you can install this.

Install time is literally 1 minute per headlight. Video coming soon.

We went through this process so you don't have to fix these over-engineered headlights.
